Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I get an invoice/receipt?
Navigate to Billing: Under the Billing section, select Account Billing.
Locate Export Options: Inside the Account Billing dashboard, you will see the Export option located under Transaction History.
Filter Your Dates: Filter for the specific time frame you would like your invoice to include. Note: Account records are generally available for up to 6 months to date.
Generate the Document: Select Export and then choose Generate Receipt.
Customize Your Details: Before finalizing, you can fill in the specific information you would like displayed on the invoice/receipt, including your name, company address, email, and VAT ID.
2. Can I change my payment method?
After adding a primary payment method, your credit card cannot be entirely removed from the account. It can only be replaced with a different card.
3. How can I dispute a billing issue or request a refund?
Please submit a request to adsupport@newsbreak.com and allow 2-3 days for our team to investigate.
4. Why was my card charged $10 but I haven't run any ads yet?
We have a temporary $10 card authorization fee. If you run ads, this amount goes towards your advertising budget; otherwise, if you don't run ads, it will be fully refunded. The payment amount is held for 7 days, and if not captured within this time, Stripe cancels the payment and releases the funds.
5. My card payment failed but I know I have enough funds. What should my next steps be?
To get your ads back up and running, you can try one of the following steps:
Contact your bank to resolve the current payment issue.
Switch your payment method. If you add a new card, just remember to check on your ads afterward.
How Daily Budgets Work on NewsBreak Ads
Your daily budget acts as an average target calculated over a calendar week (Sunday through Saturday). To help you capture high-value traffic when performance peaks, NewsBreak Ads uses dynamic daily pacing—ensuring your daily spend can flex while keeping your total weekly spend strictly protected.
How Daily Spending Flexes
- Standard Daily Pacing: Under normal conditions, delivery is continuously optimized to hit your target daily budget.
- High-Opportunity Days: During peak engagement periods, the system may spend up to 75% over your daily budget to maximize performance.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip on Event Optimization:
Double-check that your conversion event matches your primary campaign goal. Optimizing for an upper-funnel event (e.g., View Content) rather than a lower-funnel event (e.g., Complete Payment) can cause the system to spend more aggressively to capture abundant conversions, leading to higher daily costs.
