Overview
Custom Product Pages (CPP) is an App Store feature that allows you to create up to 35 alternative versions of your App Store product page for a single app. Each version can showcase different screenshots, preview videos, and promotional text tailored to specific audience segments. Every CPP is uniquely identified by a 36-character Product Page ID (ppid) in a UUID format.
By linking your NewsBreak Ad Manager campaigns to specific Custom Product Pages, you can direct different audiences to a landing page that perfectly matches the ad creative they clicked. This alignment creates a seamless user experience and significantly increases your click-to-install conversion rate (CVR).

Key Use Cases
- Audience-Differentiated Delivery: Target different user segments with tailored pairings. For example, you can show hardcore gamers a competitive, PVP-oriented ad creative that links to a PVP-themed App Store page, while directing casual players to a narrative-focused App Store page via a story-themed ad.
- Creative Alignment Testing (A/B Testing): Test multiple ad creatives paired with their theme-matched Custom Product Pages under a single Ad Set to identify the highest-performing combination based on install volume and efficiency.
Prerequisites
Before setting up CPP in NewsBreak Ad Manager, ensure you have completed the following steps:
- App Store Connect Setup: Create your Custom Product Pages and copy the 36-character Product Page ID (ppid) from your Apple App Store Connect account.
- Supported Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs): Ensure your app relies on either a supported measurement partner for attribution tracking, as this feature is natively integrated with a few MMP partners with their passthrough parameters.
Step-by-Step Configuration Guide
CPP configurations are managed at the Ad level, allowing you maximum flexibility to assign different product pages to individual creatives within the same Campaign or Ad Set.
- Log in to NewsBreak Ad Manager and navigate to your iOS App Install campaign.
- Create a new Ad or select an existing Ad to edit.
- Scroll down to the Advanced Settings section and click to expand it.
- Locate the Custom Product Page ID field, situated directly below the Deferred Deep Link URL field.
- Paste your 36-character Product Page ID into the input field.
- Save your changes.
Important Guidelines & Validation
Important Format Note: The ID must be a valid 36-character UUID format with hyphens (e.g., xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx). The dashboard will validate this format in real time. If the format is incorrect, the input border will turn red and saving will be blocked until it is corrected.
- Platform Availability: This configuration field is explicitly visible only for iOS App Install ad types. It will automatically remain hidden for Android configurations or alternative campaign objectives.
- Reusability: The same Product Page ID can be utilized across multiple separate ads or campaigns where relevant.
